SDS has won the third round of the ANR Sec&Si security challenge. SDS is thus the final winner.
The SDS project was one of the three teams that were selected by the French National Research Agency (ANR) for the Program about Security of the Operating Systems The great work done, with the release of PIGA-OS linux based secure operating systems lead SDS to win the challenge.
The SDS project is one of the four research projects of the LIFO (Laboratoire d’Informatique Fondamentale d’Orléans) laboratory.
The SDS project is currently located at the ENSI of Bourges, France.
Research domains of the Security and Distributed Systems (SDS)
The SDS project has has major fields of research, all related to computer security. We consider that policies are a good way tosecure computer systems and networks. We use security policies for access control, intrusion detection, auto-configuration and deployment of tools.
Our approach is based on the notion of meta-policy. The meta-policy eases the configuration the administration of global and possible large-scale networks and highly distributed systems, while ensuring strong security properties.
